I'm currently in the process of moving house and really am trying my best to get things sorted out. Which I'm not doing a good job of when I keep adding to my collection. lol. I have built up a photobucket with extra items I would love to sell off ( I'm open to trade as well) to help towards the move.

Photobucket list of items

There are currently several items up on ebay from the photobucket list.

If anyone is interested in those items send a reply or e-mail me. Also if you are looking for something in particular shoot me a message as well. I may have it.

Thanks everyone.

Hey guys! I've been in this fandom since I was 10, i.e. for 14 years, which means I've been collecting merch for a long time. Sadly, I don't have room for some of it now, which breaks my heart, but I'm hoping these items will make some other hardcore fan happy!

I'm selling a lot of my trading cards and even though I've had full collections, some cards are now missing (I used to put them up on my fridge, and now sadly, I can't find them). But there are still a lot of full sets, a lot of promo cards and one or two great finds.

I will most likely cry at the post office )

Keeping up with Livejournal is hard for myself considering I do not log on often, so I thought that an actual forum would be much easier (display & organize wise) and allows for greater access for others not on livejournal. This community will of course stay open but I have opened up this new forum for more opportunity access. Hopefully, I will see you all there. Currently, the forum does not have much to offer since I've basically just set it up not too long ago. I do plan to keep it pretty simple & straight forward. If you have any questions, please feel free to comment. :)

Please feel free to spread the word if you can!

At first when  I saw that the responses were made in a new topic instead of responding to the original topic I was going to ask everyone to copy & paste into the response. But it actually looks more fun to have responses made in a new topic. Also I hope what I just wrote makes some kind of sense! lol

1) How long have you been collecting?
I bought my first xf related item back in '98 but I didn't start heavily collecting until '05.

2) What made you start collecting?
After viewing fan collections and realizing how many cool things are out there ..I wanted it. Its a fun pass time.

3) What in particular do you enjoy collecting?
I must admit as of late I really enjoy collecting autographs.

4) First item you bought for your collection?
during the hype of movie release and it was indeed the FTF movie magazine.

5) Most recent edition to your collection?

Most recent editions include IBG Gillian autograph and a Art Department S.6-9 poster.

6) How do you like to store and/or display?
Most are stored away in binders & boxed but I do have some things framed.

7) Most prized item?
My polaroids and autographed items.

8) Most you ever spent on an item?
$200

9) Least you ever spent on an item?
99cents

10) What is on your wish list?
- More episode Dailies
- More Gillian autographs

11) Sources for finding & obtaining items?
Ebay, fellow collectors, and some sources I've met over the years.

12) Tips you want to share to fellow collectors?
Never buy an autograph that is obviously fake. Take the time to research before you buy. You wouldn't believe how many fakes I've found and how much people have foolishly spent on them. It breaks my heart to look at a fellow fans collection and see how much they are clearly fond of a special autograph that is obviously fake but not wanting to break the news. I am not an expert but some items I've found over time it doesn't take an expert to realize what is fake and what isn't.

13) Any photos you want to share of your collection?
I do have photos but the ones I want to share have been lost... :(

14) Anything you want to ask your fellow collectors?

hmm right now, nothing is coming to me but if I have a question you know I'll post :D

1) How long have you been collecting?
Since 1998.

2) What made you start collecting?
I bought the official FTF magazine and then realized that there were more magazines and a subscription. Then came the VHS box sets and I couldn't stop by then.

3) What in particular do you enjoy collecting?
Original shooting scripts.

4) First item you bought for your collection?
The official FTF magazine.

5) Most recent edition to your collection?
The Blu-Ray two disc set of FTF/IWTB.

6) How do you like to store and/or display?
I keep most of my stuff in cardboard storage boxes in my closet. I have 11 or 12 full boxes of XF stuff.

7) Most prized item?
My Robert Patrick autographs, and my complete season 9 original shooting script collection.

8) Most you ever spent on an item?
I'm cheap LOL I think the most I ever spent was $75 or so on trading cards/binders.

9) Least you ever spent on an item?
A dollar on some TV Guides that I already had, but wanted to get another copy just because.

10) What is on your wish list?
The original shooting scripts for the rest of the season 8 scripts that I need:
Patience
Salvage
Badlaa
The Gift
Three Words
Empedocles
Vienen
Alone

11) Sources for finding & obtaining items?
I attempt to ask the general XF community on the few discussion boards that I'm a member of. I typically get ignored. I've lost my contacts for such things as the years have gone by.

12) Tips you want to share to fellow collectors?
Save money and trade items if you want. I will always trade a DVD or a copy of a script if I can to obtain something else that I want to get.

13) Any photos you want to share of your collection?
I would love to, but that would mean that I have to go dig into the depths of my closet and take everything out of my 12 boxes and photograph the mess. And then put everything back into the box they were originally in because I have detailed labels on my boxes so I know where things are without having to dig it all out.

14) Anything you want to ask your fellow collectors?
Does anyone have any of the season 8 scripts (original shooting scripts, not fan-made transcripts) that I'm looking for. I'd be willing to pay a reasonable price or trade another script per script that you have.

4) First item you bought for your collection? - I have no idea

5) Most recent edition to your collection? - I bought some X-Files Comics at Mid Ohio Con along with some other stuff.

6) How do you like to store and/or display? - Sadly most of it is in totes right now not displayed. I am in process of redoing my toy room.

7) Most prized item? - X-Files related it would have to be one of my Gillian Autos. But overall I can't put into words how much I love my Sideshow Premium Format Indiana Jones.

13) Any photos you want to share of your collection? - I am lazy I need to snap photos. LOL

14) Anything you want to ask your fellow collectors? - Not that I can think of.

Just making convo since this place is pretty much..dead *sniff*.

I'm wondering if you guys are looking for anything specific and if so, list it! Maybe with any luck someone who has what you are looking for will pop in and save you! :)

Myself, I'm looking for the same deal--the official magazine (arcadia cover) which I do see pop up on ebay but in "lots" so agh--and the Stephen King version (not CC re-write) script of Chinga.  Oh and dailies!  Sell or trade.

I recently went to Adventure Con in knoxville TN where I got two boxes of I Want To Believe cards. I got two autographs and two piece work cards. In my first box I got Gillian Anderson piece of Scully scrub top. Which made me happy. For my autograph I got Xzibit agent Drummy which I could have done without. LOL In my second box I got Ammanda Peet piece of her jacket as for my autograph I got Sheila Larken who of course played Margaret Scully. So I was pretty happy as well there. So has anyone added anything new to there collections?
